Yoga Instructor: Kalee H.

Kalee initially began practicing yoga as an elective course while attending college in Arizona. Instantly she was hooked and continued her practice daily, oftentimes practicing outdoors in Sedona, Arizona. As her continuing love and compassion for yoga grew, she wound up in Wilmington, North Carolina at Longwave Yoga where she earned her 200-hour teaching certification in 2017, completed an 8-week apprenticeship in 2019 and a SUP (stand up paddleboard) Yoga teaching certification in 2020. She eventually moved to Sequim, Washington where she earned her Prenatal Yoga teaching certification in 2022 while she was pregnant with her first child. She specializes in Hatha flows, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Prenatal yoga; creating a sense of harmony by uniting the body and mind in each class. She likes to include music during meditations with the use of her harmonium and Tibetan singing bowl. Rejuvenation can be found through meditation & asana and Kalee strives to make this accessible in her classes.

If you want to live your best life, it is important that you move. No matter what your age, movement keeps you healthy. It enables you to fight disease or illness, it enables you to be prepared for retirement so you can enjoy those years you worked for. I am 78 and have been taking all Kalee’s classes for years 4-5 times a week. I have an autoimmune condition and all my docs cannot believe my fitness. Why? Kalee cares about every person in the class, she is constantly watching to make sure adjustments are made so our bodies get the greatest benefit. She can manage a class of varied ages and some are moving faster and others are not but still the same move. She takes our brain serious too through short readings and meditation. Kalee loves yoga and it shows in her preparation and expertise. Take her class and change your life! She has changed mine. Ask her how she saved me after I got Covid.

Wanted beginner instruction and got that and so much more from kalee. She is an excellent guide to all poses and breathing techniques. When she wakes you up after shavasana with her voice or harmonium it feels like a resurrection.

I studied with Kaylee at Willow Tree Yoga in North Carolina. Kaylee is an awesome teacher. She is kind and patient. I don't know what I enjoyed more, the little massages during shavasana or her playing the harmonium!

I’ve been taking yoga classes from different instructors in different location for over 15 years. Kalee’s Sunday Morning Flow classes are truly unique; she injects just the right amount of meditation into her classes which provides a whole-body yoga experience. Additionally, she always provides alternate positions to accommodate all levels of physical agility, providing suggestions to increase mobility. Her move to the east coast is best for her and I am hoping that she spreads her namaste to all her new yogini in her new location, but I will truly miss her in Sequim.
