During a Yin yoga class, poses will be held (with the use of props) for between 3-5 minutes each. The benefit of holding certain poses longer is that it helps stretch and release fascia*. Although this class is slow-paced, it can be challenging to quiet the mind and fully relax. In this class you can expect to tune your attention inward and learn the true art of relaxation.
